“Bits and Pieces”
One of my hot yoga friends brought a few horse bits to class to see if I would like to recycle them. I loved the pieces and chose to incorporate them into a wall sculpture piece that included digital image transfers and wire.
The steel was cut with an oxyacetylene cutting torch in a random manner. Actually any steel I cut to work with is always cut randomly. The edges are rough and the surface textured with some chemicals and pickle juice. Digital Image Transfers are added to the surface before varnishing.
